Room temperature butter and Aunt Jemima syrup are all I need. Oh and waffles. Yes, I like a little waffles with my syrup and butter. Waffles used to be square and come in small boxes, at least that’s what we always ate. Store bought, freezer burnt waffles. Nothing but the best. It didn’t matter…frozen waffles were the summer’s best weekday breakfast, along with a frozen can of Orange juice. Add 3 cans of cold water and stir. I looked all over for frozen square waffles and I don’t think they make them anymore. Eggo cornered the market on the round waffle. On a side note, no waffles were eaten during the photographing for this painting…but I have half a box left for tomorrow!
